Kids
The purpose of RHBC Kids is to equip children to know, grow, and show God’s love. We understand the importance of laying strong spiritual foundations during these formative years. We want the children to know who God is and understand their need for a Savior. We also want children to grow through scripture memorization, Bible studies, and service. We pray that the children will learn to share God’s love in this dark and fallen world.
RHBC Kids offers a variety of interactions for your children to know, grow, and show God’s love: AWANAS on Wednesday nights (during the school year), Sunday morning Sunday school classes (K-2, 3-6), Sunday morning Kids church, Sunday night bible studies, and also Kids choir. Along with these activities we also host multiple events throughout the year to keep the kids engaged.
The safety of your children is a top priority, and multiple steps are taken to help accomplish this. From the moment you drop off your child until the moment you pick them up, they will experience a loving, safe, age-appropriate environment designed just for them. We look forward to seeing your kids and worshiping with them!
Newborns
Birth—2 YearsWe love your kids! Each of our nursery workers and volunteers has a heart to work with and care for your child like their own. Our top priority is loving your child like Jesus and providing a safe environment for them. We want you to be able to worship and stay focused on the service, knowing that your newborn is getting great care.
Pre-School
3—4 YearsOur goal is to lovingly reach, teach, and disciple each child for Jesus Christ. During these early years, we want to help your child know more about biblical truths that help to build a solid foundation. We accomplish this through being interactive with your child, teaching basic bible stories, singing songs, coloring, and doing crafts. Your child will experience a safe, age-appropriate environment, designed just for them. From the moment you drop them off until you pick them up, your child will be loved!
Elementary
K—5th GradeEach time that we meet, your child will be introduced to biblical truths. We desire that each child come to know the saving power of Christ. We know that kids are experiencing a constantly changing world and being exposed to a lot at a young age. We hope to instill in them a passion for Jesus and an understanding that He is the truth and the life that they need, that we all need. Your child will be involved with worship, teaching, and activities each time we meet along with many other special events throughout the year. We are excited to be a part of your child's life!
